Gail Quigg

Although Gail often travels with the Mission Safety International team in order to share her perspective as a bush pilot's wife, she generally refers to herself as a "missionary without portfolio."  Through the years, Gail has been involved in a wide variety of support ministries. Financial bookkeeper, hospitality hostess, radio operator, flight coordinator, Bible study leader, teacher and swimming instructor are among the titles she has held during her missionary career. She views her flexibility as "vital" in order to meet needs as they present themselves. Currently, Gail helps to lead a weekly community Bible Study, mentors youth in the local church, visits shut-ins, and performs administrative tasks for the local church and MSI.

Gail earned an education degree (secondary education) from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky. She also completed course work at Asbury Theological Seminary in Bible teaching and cross-cultural lifestyles for families. However, Gail attributes most of her "practical education" to her 20 years of living and working in Africa.
