Let’s get priorities straight here folks - finances play only a secondary part of a missionary’s support package. Proceed to the following financial information ONLY when your prayer support is in place and up-to-date.

One of the best parts of the United Methodist support system is that every dollar sent in through the Advance Special system goes directly to the project concerned. Individual gifts can be routed through your local United Methodist church (preferred so that your church and conference can get credit for missions giving) or can be sent directly to the Board of Global Ministries at the address to the right.

Make your check payable to your local church or Advance GCFA as appropriate, and be sure to write the Advance code number and project name on the check:

For a more dedicated commitment, we encourage your church to enter into a Covenant Relationship with us - it’s a marriage of sorts. For your part, you must commit to supporting us yearly at $2,000 or $3 per member (whichever is less), and in return, we’ll do our best to stay in touch on a regular basis and get by to see you during our home assignments.
